Overall a well earned and gritty win that came through team persistence and an improved performance in the second half of the match. A tight game between two evenly matched teams. We took the lead with a good strike from the edge of the box. The half continued in a competitive manner with us missing a close range chance and our keeper made a great save from a header. Easton equalised just before half time from a penalty. The second half changed in a 5 minute spell where our keeper threw one in and they scored a ridiculously good volley. A well taken header got us back into it but we couldn’t get the equaliser and with playing 8 up front at the end, Easton scored two on the counter attack to put a flattering look on the scoreline.
