Victory for us vs a strong side in Brislington Badgers. Great set of lads with a good team spirit made it difficult for us to break the deadlock. Finally around the 70 minute mark we managed to get the much needed goal and the 2nd followed in the 80th. Great game all round.

4 goals for Andy and a hat trick for Doughtz gave Lyde a comfortable win against an under strength Belly ‘N’ Ribs who lost their GK in the warm up and started with 9 plus a Lyde player before a late arrival put them up to 11. 4-0 at HT meant the second half was a bit of a formality. A few frustrated players on either side towards the end while the clock ticked away slowly but overall played in decent spirit. Wishing Belly ‘N’ Ribs good luck for the rest of the season
