Before Football dragged me back in via Bath & District and Trowbridge & District Leagues. Before life got in the way again. After a 10 year football hiatus, in 2013 the Bristol Corinthian League came calling. Now a Henleaze Corinthian’s stalwart who moonlights for any other team that is short of a “attacking” centre back!

A torn ACL at the age of 56 (surely only days away from a call up to Southgate’s England team), forced me into retirement as a player and into management with the mighty Red Star.
I inadvertently put my hand up when the league asked for volunteers a couple of years ago to help organise the 25th anniversary do. This led to joining the steering group then the league committee.
