A terrific game at Tormarton ended with Heritage snatching the winner and securing the div 5 title with a headed goal from a pinpoint cross deep into added time. There were echoes of the days of Fergie time but joyous scenes ensued and overall Heritage deserved the win although the ‘Saurs ran them pretty close. Gaffers scored a superb direct free kick to give Reclinosaurs the lead against the run of play. Heritage equalized after MoM keeper Bruce clipped their striker on the way through and the pen was slotted home. This was a game of few clear cut chances and we thought we’d done enough for a point before the last minute heart break. Great game, great opponents, congratulations on the title!
