Great game where Barely tool their chances and our man of the match was our keeper Allan.

Bad day at the office for Barely undone by the hungrier younger than today. LB played good confident football and deserved their win.

Definitely not one for the neutral at a damp and rainy Frys. It’s not often you get a game with more head injuries than shots on target, but that stat summed this encounter up. Barely scored direct from a free kick in a rare moment of quality. Recliners huffed and puffed, got into some decent positions going forward but couldn’t hit a barn door. Right at the death Biccy missed a sitter to make it a draw,which would have been about right as a result but fair play to Barely who were organized and resolute in defence throughout. Best wishes to their fella who got injured and good luck for the season.

Recliners are a good side.  Well organised and play decent football. Barely were struggling with numbers playing 85 minutes with the bare 11 and no subs after Andy Brookers head injury. Luckily Barely got an early goal with a great Jim semmence free kick. Then the heaven’s opened and the game became very tight neither team wanting to make a mistake on the greasy wet pitch. Recliners pushed Barely to their limits with Mark Mclaughlin finishing the game on one leg! Barely fielded 3 60+ year old so it was to their credit that they completed 90 minutes.  Jim semmence managed to hit both posts with one shot and John Rossetti missed a tap in. That said Recliners could’ve easily had won thus game too!

Well done to Mike and his men.

A great game to end the season with.  Barely scored with Mark Green beating the keeper after some great build up work. Barely finishing the half annoyed it was only 1.0 . Second half we spurned more chances and them Easton’s number 17 beat the off side trap and sent a lob cross into the Barely box which deceived everyone and dropped into the net. 1.1 . Barely continued to carve out chances with several one on one’s but it wasn’t our day so honours even.
