Background: We are a community sports and social club based at The Plough Inn, Easton, Bristol. Beginning with the formation of a football team in 1992, The Cowboys and Cowgirls now includes several men’s and women’s football teams, three cricket teams, two netball teams, a club for kids and families (Cowboys & Cowgirls Kids Klub, or CACKK) and a whole legion of ex-players and non-sporting members (Legends & Supporters).The Casuals are 1 of 2 Veterans teams in the Corinthian’s League…

Background:

Retainers FC were founded in 1953 and have played in the Bristol Downs league ever since. A first Veterans team was added in 2006. The team enjoyed some highly successful years after the Downs League championship winning side became eligible to play over 35’s. Two over 35’s cup wins and two runners up spots in division one were the highlights. We haven’t reached those heady heights since but continue to enjoy playing in the Corinthians League.
