Frampton Ath Vets v Fry Club

A clinical away display from Fry Club, resulted in a four goal cup victory today at Beesmoor Rd. Evenly matched during the early stages, the Chocolatiers went in at the break two goals ahead despite losing their keeper in the opening 30 minutes. Two further goals in the second half sealed the victory. Joe Wescott & Marc Richards bagging braces.

Frampton Report:

A good game of football played in good spirit throughout. Fry’s were clearly the better team, but Frampton battled bravely. The first half was a tight affair until 5 mins before half time when Fry’s scored 2 quick goals. As the second half started, Frampton didn’t, and found themselves 3-0 down within 2 minutes of the restart! Effectively game over at that point, but Frampton went on the offensive to try and find any way back into the game, but Fry’s caught them on the break and finished them off with a 4th goal. Enjoyable game of football, despite the result!
