Pucklechurch FC Vets vs Yate Town Vets

Game was played in great spirit and full credit to Pucklechurch for a great playing service and hospitality in these hard times.

Pucklechurch Report:

After drawing Wick in the first round last year, the cup draw gods seem to be against us as we drew a newly formed Yate Town team. With a few new signings we felt confident and turned up almost at full strength. The first 5 minutes were even, and we won the last 20 minutes 1-0. It’s just a shame there was 65 minutes in between when they beat us 9-0. We’re just glad they missed a few open goals and eased off at the end!

Yate were a really good group of lads, humble in victory, and came for a beer after.
